Funeral and burial help for Grace Lively

From my daughter-in-law, who was Grace’s best friend and roommate at UD:
“It is impossible to describe in a paragraph the beautiful, loving, selfless person that is Grace Lively. Her beaming smile and eagerness to help those around her were a blessing to everyone who knew her, and the depths of her generous, listening heart were limitless for anyone who needed a friend. She loved her siblings and family fiercely and was always happy to laugh over her favorite family stories with a warm cup of tea and a bar of chocolate. She loved playing games—and always won—and was gifted in absolutely every area of her life. Her ability to see beauty in all things was so evident in her incredible artwork, which recently graced the walls of UD during her art concentration senior thesis exhibition featuring different renditions of Our Lady guiding souls to her Son. Grace’s faith was an inspiration, and her devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary served as a beautiful example of her ability to center her always-busy life around God. Seeing Grace and her fiancé pray together with a love that surpasses the boundaries of time gave us all a far greater appreciation for the rare true love that they exuded beyond themselves to everyone they encountered. Many times, her rosary clicked quietly after she had finally gotten in bed in the early hours of the morning after finishing homework, extracurricular prolife outreach activities, and her job. Her quiet determinedness could not hide her brilliance—she graduated magna cum laude two years early with the business department award from the University of Dallas and won a cash prize in the school’s entrepreneurial competition. After graduation, she moved to Alabama as an executive assistant to live with her fiancé’s family until next spring when they planned to marry. Days before the accident, Grace said that this past month in Alabama had been far happier than she ever could have imagined, and that planning her life with Jack was the most exciting adventure she had embarked on yet. We love you so much Grace, and we miss you more than words can say—we look forward to seeing you again someday.”
Grace was critically injured in a car accident when she was hit by a truck in Alabama on Monday morning. Her injuries were extensive and she succumbed to them on July 12. Aubrey and family will face many expenses related to the burial of their dear Grace over the next weeks, as well as needs related to the sudden tragic loss of a dear loved one. The Lively family resides in DFW, but they travelled in haste to Alabama to be with grace after her accident. Their financial burden includes family travel back to DFW, transportation for Grace, and all things related to laying her to rest. Grace was the second eldest of 6 children, and there will be so many unknown and unspecified needs in the wake of this. We beg prayers for the happy repose of Grace’s soul, for consolations for her fiancé, Jack, and for her Mother, Father, sisters and brothers and everyone else who loved her so dearly. We also ask that you give whatever you can to ease some of the burden associated with such a heavy and heartbreaking loss.
