Funeral and Family Assistance of Lupembe Sumaili

Dear friends, family and partners,

 

On behalf of the Congolese Community of Greater Cleveland, we are here to announce the death of our beloved brother Lupembe Sumaili. Mr. Lupembe was a father of 4 title precious angels and a husband to Apendeki Lupembe. Mr. Lupembe came to Cleveland in 2015 as a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cleveland has been their home ever since.

 

The late Lupembe and his family were very active members of the Congolese community and helped other refugees who came after them. Friday 10/29 at approximately 10pm, Mr. Lupembe was shot and killed while mourning with another Congolese family that had just lost their son. Mr. Lupembe was the joy that we all needed in our community but that joy and happiness was stolen by a bullet this Friday by an unknown individual.

 

The community is in desperate need of financial assistance to help burry our brother and assist the widow and the 4 little angels who are left behind. Please assist in whichever you can no amount is too little and based on the quote we anticipate to receive from the funeral home, we ask you consider supporting us in giving our brother the perfect end of life that he deserves.
