Help Support Mahendra Prasad's Family

Hello, my name is Angita Nupur, and I am the daughter of Mahendra Prasad. On April 7th, my parents, Mahendra Prasad and Nutan Prasad, flew in from India to spend time with our family. During my father’s visit, he was able to witness many key moments in our lives,

including his grandson and granddaughter’s birthdays and graduations, as well as his 49th marriage anniversary and my anniversary. My father was indeed a lively and happy man who was very caring and helpful to those around him. He was always willing to help, and cared more for others than for himself, leaving an everlasting positive impact. He was loved by everyone who knew him and was the light of his big family back in India.

On June 4th, around 11 pm, he came up the stairs to go to bed after a normal day. Suddenly, he felt dizzy with a severe headache. We dialed 911, and within minutes he was being driven away in an ambulance. Our world was flipped upside down. After various tests and scans, doctors informed us that his brain was severely injured due to internal bleeding. After spending 4 days in multiple hospitals on life support, he passed away from a brain hemorrhage on June 7th, 2022 at 5:26 PM. He leaves behind his wife, daughter and 2 sons, 4 grandchildren, and several siblings, nieces, nephews, and people who loved him.

I intend to start this fundraiser to help my family offset the high medical bills and funeral expenses. Our family would greatly appreciate any contributions made towards helping with the costs of his unexpected passing.
