Funeral and Medical Expenses For Noah Villapando
Donation protected
Update:
Our sweet Noah gained his wings Thursday, January 11th, 2024. We are still short of funeral expenses. All donations and prayers are still welcomed and very much appreciated.
Hi! My name is Cassandra Rodriguez-Garcia
This GoFundMe account is set up for my sister Amanda Rodriguez-Villapando and nephew Noah Villapando.
Noah is 13 years old and was born with Pallister Killian Syndrome, a chromosomal disorder caused by having an extra chromosome. It is not inherited and occurs spontaneously in a child by chance.
The doctors advised Amanda on his condition before his was born, Amanda decided she was leaving it in God’s hands. Through the years he has had numerous surgeries and has needed 24-hour care. Noah has been on a feeding tube and medications all his life and now his body is starting to shut down.
Physicians have told my sister that his body is not able to survive and she needed to prepare herself for the worst. This has been hard as a mother who has sacrificed so much the past 13 years my heart goes out to her and our extended family. I can’t imagine what she is feeling or going through knowing she never gave up on her baby boy.
Amanda is in need of financial assistance with burial and medical bills. This is why we decided to take the burden off of her. This is a lot for a parent to deal with and we want her to enjoy her last moments with Noah and bring her some comfort.
Last week they put him on pediatric hospice and this week they will start him on morphine, as well as decreasing his feedings to once or twice a day. Feeding him is harder on his body and it is making him worse.
Noah is currently suffering on the inside, he has 10 gallstones and due to all the medications, his liver and kidneys have failed, he also has GI tract issues.
Amanda is a single mother with three other children to care for as well. Michelle, her oldest child is a huge help, she is like a second Mom to Noah. Between Amanda, Michelle and the nurses caring for him, they will all need a lot of prayers.
It is hard to imagine how difficult it is for a parent to lose their child, if you can find it in your heart to contribute to the family, we would greatly appreciate any prayers or donations that you may have.
