Funeral and Memorial Costs for Aniko Kun

My name is Valerie and I am raising funds for our dearest colleague and friend Aniko Kun. Aniko unexpectedly passed away while on vacation overseas on July 10, 2023 leaving behind her children Orsolya Almonte-Kun (Edison Almonte), Bianka Grof (Zoltan Nagy), Szilvia Kun (Justin Mercer), Szalbolcs Kun, Peter Kun and her adoring grandchildren Jason, Domenic, Chloe and Madeleine. The family is shocked and deeply saddened by this sudden tragic loss. If you knew Aniko, you’d know how much she touched the lives of everyone around her. It’s now our turn to give back and help her family as they deal with the loss of their cherished mother, Aniko. We are raising money to assist her family with funeral costs/memorial service costs and other unexpected expenses during this difficult time of grief.

We are asking for donations and contributions of any size to help support her family. We are hoping that together, we can make a difference.

In the coming days, as we try to process this loss and collectively grieve her passing, we will lean into our gratitude for having known and worked with Aniko to carry us through.

To many of us, Aniko was a woman with genius comedic timing, the driest wit, always commanded the room. She was a devoted animal, sunrise, sunset and moon lover. Loved anything coconut flavoured, good quotes and spicy taralli.

But more, the thing we appreciate most about her, was her unflinching support to us all.

Aniko was a dedicated and passionate team member, and when a problem arose, she always found a way to make it work and make it happen. She was tough as nails on the outside, but all heart on the inside with boundless energetic energy.

We will find ways to honor her memory and commemorate our fallen comrade.
