Funeral and Memorial for Ivan Terry Fello

My sweet Pops passed away unexpectedly due to COVID on Thanksgiving night. He had spent the last few weeks in a rehabilitation facility trying to get moving again after his fall, and was set to come back home on Tuesday. Prior to his release, he started having trouble breathing and they tested him for covid, and he got a positive result. He was moved over to the hospital where he passed away just two days later. Because this happened so quickly, my nana hardly even had time to process what was happening, and the small amount of life insurance she has on him isn’t even enough to bury him. She lost the love of her life, her caretaker, her best friend- and we just want her to be able to lay him to rest the way she wants to and for her to be able to be comfortable through this very difficult time.

Pops was a hero to this country and in this community. He served in the Army and in the Air Force, fought in Vietnam, was a SWAT team agent, and he retired from the Huntsville Police Department. He would do anything for anyone. Always. He never knew a stranger. Please consider donating, even just a little- and we can use all of the prayers we can get! Anything helps my nana have one less thing to worry about as she tries to move forward without Pops by her side.
