Funeral and Memorial of Samuel Preciado

I am Alejandro Preciado, Samuel Preciado's eldest son. My dad was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer, which quickly spread to his liver, lungs, and esophagus. Dad fought the best he could, but ultimately the cancer was too aggressive, and he passed away August 3rd, 2023, at the age of 62. But of course, death is not the whole story. 

Samuel was a loyal husband, a role model of a father, and a reliable friend. He was a jokester. Always smiling, always laughing. He worked over 30 years as a union scaffolder before retiring just two years ago. And even when he came home absolutely exhausted, he always made time for family. Some of my best memories with my dad include playing soccer at the park, or eating his famous homemade chicharrones.

My dad taught my brother Ricardo and I how to be men. He taught us the value of hard work. How to be strong, and how to be kind. For that we are forever grateful. He will be missed deeply, and loved, always.

Samuel will be laid to rest in his hometown of Barranca de Santa Clara, Jalisco. The money raised here will be used to cover funeral and travel costs. All donations are greatly appreciated, and the Preciado Family thanks you for your incredible generosity.
