Funeral and other expenses for Alex White

Alexander Michael White was born in March of 1997. I remember it like it was yesterday. He’s who made me a mom. He was my first born precious Lovebug. 
Last week, tragically my son was shot. I sat by his side holding his hand and praying for him, until he was taken into surgery to donate his organs. 

He was a 2015 graduate of West Holmes High School and was a part time college student. Alex was a musician, he loved making music. He was very athletic and health conscious. He enjoyed working out, exercising, playing football and basketball, and playing with his dog. Alex was a good kid and a good friend and had a lot of people that cared about him. Alex was an organ donor who selflessly gave the gift of life to other people. He was a part of the Gateway Fellowship Church family, whom the family wishes to express a heartfelt Thank You to for all the prayers, love and support they received during this difficult time. 

The fact is that I have lost my son. That in itself is heartbreaking.  I will never get to see him get married, I will never get to meet the children he may have had, I will never get to hug him or hold him again. 

This GoFundMe account is being set up to try to raise some funds for his funeral, expenses related to, and lost wages for my husband who has taken off last week and this week to be here for me and our 2 youngest children.  If you’d like to donate in another form, please feel free to contact me.
