Funeral and Support Funds

My name is Lulita Sanders and I'm setting up this GoFundMe page for the family of Joshua Kersey who was killed by MNPD on Monday, October 9,2023. The death of Joshua Kersey was unnecessary but it's happened. Joshua was a great person, would give you the shirt off his back. The MNPD was told 2 times on the 911 call that Joshua has severe mental health illness, the police officers was told this as well. Joshua said he wanted to talk to his sister. They never went outside to get her. She tried to go inside the house but was told if she took another step she would be arrested. Joshua was killed while lying on his back with hands in the air. Joshua Kersey didn't deserve to die. Joshua deserves to be laid to rest properly. This GoFundMe is very important to me so that way Joshua will be able to have a proper burial. Joshua doesn't even have clothes to be buried in. Also to help the family be able to pay some bills and get food. It absolutely breaks my heart into pieces hearing and watching them in the pain for the loss of Joshua. The family wasn't shown the footage of the bodycam so it really took a toll on his sister seeing her brother being shot and killed by the police. I'm trying to raise enough to take as much burden off of them as possible. It's going to be awhile before the family will get back to the closest to normal as they will be able to. The family is going to need as much help as possible. Please help, any and everything will truly be a blessing. Please and thank you. The family also needs a burial place
