Funeral Arrangements for Brandon Hinkle
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Robyn Abraham, and I am hoping to help raise funds to offset the costs of funeral arrangements for my nephew Brandon Hinkle. He sadly ended his life yesterday 9/1/23 at only 26 years old. Like many younger people, he did not have insurance to cover his final expenses and any help for the family would be very much appreciated. If you know someone who struggles with mental illness, please check on them and make sure they are okay.
Brandon Scott Hinkle, 26 of Roselawn, IN passed unexpectedly on the evening of Friday September 1, 2023 at his home. Brandon was born on July 6th, 1997 in Crown Point, IN. He is survived by his mother, Erin; his father, Logan; his brother, Preston; and his sister, Sheridan.
It was hard to catch Brandon without his nose in a book reading about mythical creatures, history, psychology, or physics. When he wasn’t reading he was an accomplished artist with a love of music, he loved to travel or spend time outdoors with family or friends (preferably both). His love of animals was strong from the time he was a baby, always with a puppy or kitten (despite being allergic to cats) or riding horses and feeding baby bulls at his grandma Pam’s farm in Alabama.
Brandon attended North Newton High School in Morocco, IN and had plans to study psychology at Ivy Tech in Lafayette, IN. He was one of the first machine operators at Inteplast Group in Remington, IN and worked his way up to supervisor. Brandon was a kind and caring friend ready to lend a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, or even the shirt off his back.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and saviors, Joseph and Linda.
A private cremation by Integrity Funeral Home in Wheatfield IN was held and a private dinner will be hosted at the Lincoln Township Fire House, Thayer, IN on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 4pm until 8pm for family and friends to celebrate and honor the life of a young man who’s kind heart made him impossible not to love.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a mental health awareness or suicide prevention charity of your choice.
