Funeral Arrangements - William “Tom Cat” Robinson
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
It’s with a heavy heart and a sense of vulnerability that I reach out to you today. A week ago, our beloved grandfather passed away unexpectedly. After not hearing from him, we went to check on him and found him peacefully resting in his bed, having left this world.
Grandpa was 83, and though we knew he was getting older and weaker. When asked how he is doing, he always assured us with his favorite line, “I’m kicking, but not high.” What we didn’t know was that he had been quietly battling serious medical conditions.
As we began making funeral arrangements, we discovered that Grandpa didn’t have an active insurance policy. The policies he had were canceled due to nonpayment, and the burial benefits from his post-retirement work only cover the cost of an obituary. This has left us in a difficult position, uncertain of how to honor him with the dignified farewell he deserves.
Grandpa worked tirelessly all his life and retired from a government job, but it seems he didn’t leave behind the means to cover his final expenses. It’s a humbling and painful realization.
In this time of need, we are reaching out with humility and hope, asking for your help to give our grandfather the peaceful resting place he deserves. Any assistance you can provide will mean the world to our family.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
