Funeral Arrangements-Christopher Lee Silva (REVS)

As I sit here with a heavy heart and at a loss for words. I find myself striving to gather my thoughts, as well as the right words to use on behalf of my brother. However the reality is that there are no right words to use or ways to express the devastation our family has endured. Due to the sudden and unexpected death of my brother 39 year old Christopher Lee Silva.

Most of you may know him as the famous Graffiti Street Artist known as "REVS" around San Antonio, TX and the surrounding area.

Fact of the matter is our family is coming together as we prepare ourselves and each other to say our last goodbyes. We hold strong in our faith as we begin to make the necessary arrangements for my brothers final resting place.

Many of you have reached out to our family and asked us to let you know how you can help during this difficult time. We are calling on you now asking for your help so that we may reach our funeral funding goal within a timely manner as time is of the essence. We ask for your much needed help so that my brother, your friend/family can be laid to rest and at peace once and for all.

Those of you who knew REVS know that he was a good man and nothing less than an Amazing Artist. He could have flourished in all aspects of art. However his passion, skills and talent revolved around being a graffiti artist. That's where he shined the brightest. He made sure his name was seen all over the San Antonio area.

For those of you who didn't have the privilege of meeting REVS. He was a very loving, caring, kind, and compassionate soul. He would often feed the homeless around his neighborhood a true story. He especially looked out for those less fortunate than himself no matter if he was struggling. If he had something that he saw someone in need of he would gladly offer it up. He would give the shirt off his back for someone in need. Regardless if you were a friend or a stranger.

He was not only my brother but he was my Best Friend so I'm not going to sugar coat anything. For those of you who truly knew my brother REVS you already know that he could also be quite the opposite. Very stubborn, rebellious, and could be quite the handful at times however that's what made REVS who he was. A loving brother, awesome friend, and an overall good man. The main thing about REVS is he loved his art and by all means necessary he made it appoint to take his graffiti art to a whole other level. He made sure that within the time he had in this life he was going to hit up on everything and everywhere. He made sure there was no stone left un-turned so to say. REVS absolutely created a legacy and a fan base for himself in the graffiti art community. My brother is going to be missed by so many people. There are going to be memories of him that will linger, Promises that were broken, Dreams that never came to fruition, both Good and Bad times that will come to pass.

Losing someone you hold dear to your heart, and love unconditionally will alter your life in so many ways forever. The big hole in our heart that this devastating loss has created is going to take time to process and heal.

Please help our family come together in putting my brother to rest so that his soul may be at peace. This way our family can begin our journey towards processing and healing the massive trench left in our heart that the loss of my brother has created for our family.
