A Bomber Girl's Daughter: Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On January 28th, 2019, Jeanette Penn, an Ypsilanti local, and well known Bomber Restaurant waitress, got a phone call that no parent ever wants to receive. Her 29 year old daughter, Nicole, had been taken to the hospital and, despite efforts to revive her, passed away unexpectedly. Nicole was a kind hearted individual with a wild soul and a lot of love to give. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and someone whose life ended too soon.
For anyone who has met Jeanette, her family means the world to her and her kids are her pride and joy. Five days a week, Jeanette Penn wakes up and puts on her apron to serve breakfast to the community of Ypsilanti with the same love and care she would her own family. Sit in her section and you will hear about how her granddaughter is a cute little diva and loves to show off her dance moves. And maybe she'll tell you how her sister told her this crazy joke that had her cracking up for days.
Jeanette tries to help those around her as often as she can and in this moment, needs some people to treat her with the same kindness . At this time, Jeanette is struggling to find a way to cover her daughter's funeral costs so the family can honor Nicole's life the way she deserves.
If you have it in your heart and are able, please consider donating to Nicole's Memorial Fund. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated.
As Nicole would say, "It's not goodbye, it's see you later."
