Funeral Assistance for Armando's Loved Ones

This my Dad, Armando Fernandezees - the strongest man I know. He was just a kid himself when I was born, but the love and bond we formed is something truly special. There was never a moment in my life when my dad didn’t show me unconditional love, tell me how special I was to him, or cheer me on as one of my biggest supporters. He has been my protector from day one. I get my strength, drive, determination, and even my sense of humor from him.

When I was 10 years old, my dad had a major surgery that took most of his stomach, and the doctors didn’t give him much time to live — yet here we are, 39 years later, still persevering. We even battled cancer together. We endured chemo together, and we fought hard — and we won.

But now, almost 2 ½ years after our cancer journey, we’re facing another battle. My dad is currently at Seton Medical Center with his organs failing, and at this point, it’s in God’s hands. He’s beginning to transition, and as hard as this is for my family and me, we are starting to prepare for his services.

I’m not one to ask for help, but the reality is that funeral expenses are overwhelming, and we aren’t prepared for the financial burden that comes with laying him to rest.
