Funeral & Autopsy costs for Mandy Jackson

As you know our mom passed away suddenly Monday night, we weren't prepared for this mentally or financially. Mom had surgery Monday to put a stint/sleeve around an aortic aneurysm. She made it through surgery ok, and was alert and talking in recovery, they took her to her room in ICU where dad was waiting. She spoke with dad and was happy that she made it through her surgery, but after a couple of hours, she started to become cold, shortly after all of a sudden her blood pressure and heart rate dropped, and the doctor and nurses tried to revive her with no success... our mom, dads wife was gone. We couldn't understand what happened she was fine and all of a sudden she was gone, and all we heard from the doctor & nurse was "sorry we don't know what happened, we have never seen this happen before, she must have had a heart attack" and they repeated it over and over. We do not buy their reasoning "MAYBE she had a heart attack". NO! when you have a heart attack you have an abrupt pain, you do not lay there calmly and die. So we are having an autopsy done to find the truth, our mother & dad deserve the truth on how she died, not a guestimation from the doctor that did this surgery. To do this autopsy costs $5,000. that along with the funeral cost, services and her wish of being cremated comes to over 10,000.
