Funeral Cost for Elton Gay Gentry

My mom's baby brother, Elton Gay Gentry, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 22, 2016. I am trying to help our family raise money for expenses for my uncle's funeral, as he had no life insurance. Uncle Gay's significant other, Sandy Ruhl, is now in a nursing home. Neither my uncle, nor Sandy had very much and both were on disability.
My parents and I were on our way to pick him up from the hospital, where he was dressed and waiting for us. Just as we got there, he suffered a blood clot to the brain. The medical staff worked on him for approximately 30 min, but could not revive him.
My uncle will be greatly missed and was truly loved by so many. He was a very caring man and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
We are asking for any help possible to cover the cost of his cremation. Thank you.
