Vickie Cooper'Kanuck was a 30-year veteran Emergency Dispatcher with Stanislaus Regional 911 and a loyal public servant to the citizens of Stanislaus County as well as our Law Enforcement and Fire Agencies.
Vickie dispatched for Modesto Police, Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office and multiple Fire Agencies. Vickie loved her career as an Emergency Dispatcher and she loved the field units. Vickie took her career seriously and every field unit was more than a call sign they were a human being! Vickie also loved training new Dispatchers and was a Training Officer for several years leaving a positive impact on all those she trained.
Vickie passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the young age of 59 years old.
On behalf of Vickie's family, we are assisting with funeral arrangements. We are asking for donations to help her family with burial cost and funeral services.
Services are yet to be determined and we will post an update when arrangements have been made.
