On Dec 26th my sister suddenly lost her husband of 25 years. He was only 48 years old. Our hearts are broken and life will never be the same without him. This man loved his family so deeply that his world revolved around them. You will be missed and never forgotten Richard.
At this stage in your life you're mostly thinking of your future with your partner, kids and grandbabies, not planning your husbands funeral. The financial costs compared to what the government issues is crazy.
We all know the strains that Covid has put on all of us since March. My sister is also a front line worker who works 12 hour shifts away from her family to already to meet her current financial needs. Now to do this without her husband seems unbearable.
All the money raised will go directly to the funeral costs which included the funeral home expenses and burial costs.
Every single Loonie, Toonie or $5 donation would mean so much to help my sister pay for Richards funeral.
