Funeral Costs for Cora Sue Hammond

We are celebrating the life of “Cora Sue Hammond” my Grammy Cora. Grammy went to be with the Lord on Tuesday 11/26/24 at 8:30 PST and 10:30 pm EST. Jesus called her Home to roam around in glory and praise Him forever. She had spent many years without my Grandpa Carl, almost 36 years to the date. Her faith was bigger than any mustard seed and her willingness to keep going everyday, even without her husband or kids near her all time, was so strong. God gave her strength everyday to keep going and her faith in Him to guide her steps will always be admirable. She was an amazing woman, whom I’ll miss dearly. Her knowledge of our family, God, and history. I will forever cherish. I’m so blessed to have been able to hear all of the stories of our family from her, I am going to keep sharing them and hold onto them for the rest of my days.
When my Grandpa Hammond passed away 36 years ago, December 1988. My Grammy made sure she was next to her husband and got her affairs ready. Over many years the funeral home went out of business, therefore her contract and everything she had picked out was gone. The contract did not hold of course. My Aunt Shirley had to go to a whole different funeral home and while trying to lay my Grammy to rest, so there has been a financial set back for our family. As a granddaughter, niece and daughter, my heart is heavy in wanting to help in any way I can to relieve the stress from my Aunt and Dad, along with seeing my Grammy be put to rest after a long and beautiful life on Earth.
We are trusting in God to provide the way for our family. While also rejoicing and giving God praise for blessing us with a loving Mom and Grandma. She is where we want to be, with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever. Until we meet again, Grammy, together one day at the pearly gates. We love you! ❤️
