Funeral Costs for Elaine Valdez

This is my Mother Elaine Valdez. She passed away very suddenly on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. On Tuesday she went to the hospital because she fell at home. Assuming this happened because it was a simple accident, my family and I did not believe it was anything serious. However, the next day she had two heart attacks which left her incapacitated without a pulse. Unfortunately, the doctors were not able to revive her.

For the last few decades, my mother's only income was social security. Being diabetic and elderly, she was not able to secure life insurance.

My mother was a faithful daughter of the Church. She prayed the Rosary every day. My mother was a very modest and classy lady. There were only two times in my entire 42 yrs of life I have seen my mother wear pants! She only wore dresses and babushkas in public. She raised all four of us to the best of her ability with what she could. Even when she had no extra money to buy luxuries or even better clothes she still regularly gave money to the poor. Regardless of who you were, she had a kind word to give.

To give my mother a proper Catholic burial we need help!

I was able to secure a grave site for my mother however for the other expenses, coffin, embalming, vault, opening and closing of the grave, and grave marker we are coming up short.

Please help, anything helps
