Funeral Costs for Joseph Bernardo

My father was more than just our dad. He was the most amazing person I’ve ever met. Literally the closest to an angel I think I will ever encounter. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He found joy in making others happy, and helping them with anything he possibly could. He was newly retired and finally able to enjoy life. Although we did give him a job, he was the official puppy babysitter and man he really loved it. I know he was happy in the time leading up to his passing. But he was turning over a new leaf and starting toward a healthier lifestyle. Just yesterday he was cutting up vegetables for his daily snacks. He was excited to live a long life and to continue being the selfless man he was and help us with whatever we needed. We are absolutely devastated and lost, taken by surprise and hurt that his life was cut short. 


Yesterday 6/13/19  we lost our dad, our best friend, brother/uncle/cousin. We would like to give him a proper ceremony service, the kind he truly deserves. Any bit of help at this time is truly appreciated. We do not have an active life insurance policy to help us at this time. Thank you everyone for your outpouring of support and kind words. I know he is reading them from heaven and loving every moment of it. He deserves to know how much he truly meant to people and how he affected their lives. Because that is what he lived for. Making other people smile.
