Funeral costs for Samuel Shields Jr.

Hi. I am Piiyuuk, the daughter of Samuel Shields Jr. Many of you reached out to our family and asked how you could be of support. We are currently planning ahead for when the time comes to bring Sam to his final resting place in Bethel, AK where he served the community for 17 years at the City of Bethel, Ayaprun Elitnaurvik, American Legion, etc. He is a disabled veteran who has served in the U.S. Army for 12 years. Sam is currently living out the last of his life in Anchorage, AK as he requested. Sam has been battling dementia for 10 years and we are nearing the end. We will be using the funds for airfare to Bethel and back to Anchorage, and for all of the funeral expenses. Thank you for your support given, prayers and singing.
