On Thursday February 15th Laura Mullen (48) and Carl Mullen (62) were found deceased in their home with gunshot wounds. Leaving their only child, Gysla Helms (Mullen) (25), with not only the grieving of both her parents, but the funeral costs as well. If anyone knew Carl, you knew he would give a helping hand to any stranger, and was the sweetest guy you’d meet. He had recently retired to spend more time with his wife Laura, and be her caretaker as she continued to fight her decade long battle with MS. Knowing someone intentionally entered their home and took their life, for an unknown and seemingly senseless reason has been difficult to process. I’m creating this Go-Fund me to help relieve Gysla from the burden of paying for both of her parents to be laid to rest. Please keep Gysla in your thoughts and prayers during this devastating event.
