Funeral costs for Tommy Barton

Hi, my name is Sarah. I am the daughter of Edie Barton. I am starting this Go-Fund-Me on behalf of my mother who lost her husband, Tommy Barton, of 10 years. Edie held her pride but is still asking for help covering funeral expenses.

Over the weekend Tommy was rushed to the hospital unresponsive and they concluded he has an unrecoverable anoxic brain injury.

As of this evening, Edie and the mother of Tommy, Jean Walker, made the very sad decision to take him off life support and let Tommy pass naturally.

If you know Tommy, you know he is a fighter. He fought many battles in his life. One thing he never had to fight for was my mothers love and her commitment to him. He was her world and she was his. She is struggling to with this tragic incident and could use all the support and encouragement from family, friends, and kind volunteers. Saying goodbye to someone you love so much, with so much still left to say to them is the most difficult part of life. With past financial misfortunes still being resolved, Edie could use your kind donations to help with the cost of burying her loved one, Tommy.

Tommy has lived a very full and exciting life with many of his friends and family by his side. As we say our last goodbyes to a man who carried his heart on his sleeve, a singer with lungs of steel, a voice that carried far, an entrepreneur, a beautiful son, a devoted husband, and loving grandfather, we ask for your support in any monetary contributions you can make, stories you shared together, memories you’d love to tell and so on.
