Funeral Costs of Father & Children and Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Steve Boyer.
On the night of March 1, 2023, I lost my brother Shimone and the two youngest of his four children, Dov (7) and Nachman (8), to a devastating home fire.
While fire rescue was able to resuscitate the two older children, Tamar (11) and Shevach (9), both were in extremely critical condition and were placed on life support at the hospital while the doctors did everything they could to save their lives.
On Saturday afternoon, March 5th, first Tamar and then Shevach breathed their last as I held their hands in the pediatric ICU.

Although I had lived with the family for nearly seven years to help raise these four beautiful special needs children after their mother left the country, I was miraculously out of town when this tragedy occurred, losing my dear family and virtually everything I owned (except the contents of my luggage) in one terrible moment.
Thanks to the amazing Phoenix community and all of you who have opened your hearts and wallets in our hour of need, the funeral expenses for my brother and his four children have now been completely covered.
Our family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral, as well as all of the wonderful people who have donated, prayed, and offered messages of support and comfort. The love, caring, and support of the community, dear friends, and even total strangers have been a beacon of light to us during these dark and difficult days. There are no words to adequately express our gratitude to all of you.
While our original funding goal has been reached, any further donations to help me rebuild my life are greatly appreciated. To each and every one of you who has and continues to support me and our family, thank you and may G-d bless you for your incredible kindness.
Update: The Boyer family invites the community to an unveiling ceremony at Beth Israel Cemetery, 305 S 35th Ave., this Tuesday, February 20, at 10:00 a.m. in loving memory of Rabbi Shimon Boyer and his children Tamar, Shevach, Nachman, and Dov OB"M.
