Funeral Donations for Mai Her Yang (N. Nyaj Yag)

Hello, my name is Chou Yang and I’m fundraising for our mother’s funeral. She was somebody who didn’t speak much, but spoke with her actions. We were blessed with a mother who loved and cared for all of her 11 children. She was beautiful inside and out, and her genuine smile was so contagious.

 

Our mother started showing signs of dementia about 12 years ago, and we’re happy that she was still able to be with us all these years with the disease. It was sad to see her body change and slow down, but it was something expected. It started with forgetting how to get to work, and then it got to the point where she couldn’t do daily routines like feeding herself or using the bathroom. She was so strong as she was able to last 15 days and nights without food or water. She fought until the end before taking her last breath on the early morning of Tuesday, May 17th, 2022.
