Funeral Donations- Patricia Acosta

On June 20th 2017, we lost our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Patricia Acosta was called home by God while surrounded by her loved ones. Pat "Sister" had been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes over 30 years ago and was put on dialysis in 2008 after end stage kidney failure. She spent 3 days out of the week for the past 9 years going to the dialysis clinic while maintaining her life at home as wife, mother and grandmother. After spending these long years on the kidney transplant waiting list, Pat received the call she had long been waiting for in 2016, she got her Kidney! The transplant went smoothly and her new kidney allowed her to spend more quality time with her family and friends. As time passed, some of the risks of a transplant patient affected our loving mother. She got Pneumonia and through weeks of fighting, her body just wasn't able to fight anymore. She passed away peacefully and graciously with God.
Pat is preceded by her son Robert, and survived by her husband Thomas Acosta Sr. , sons Joseph, Thomas Jr, David, Daniel, and her 17 grandchildren.
All donations, support, and prayers are greatly appreciated.
