Funeral Expenses for Rex Patchett

On March 7, 2022, 13-year-old Rex Patchett suddenly and tragically passed away. We all love Rex so much! He is shy, but at the same time, has an infectious laugh and smile that draws everyone into his gravitational pull. Everyone at Rex’s school, Mannion Middle School, has eventually found themselves in the orbit of Rex’s fun-loving approach to life. Throughout his life Rex routinely found a way to overcome adversity and always come out on top.

Rex loved all sports, but especially basketball and football. His approach to sports was the same as his approach to life, just find a way to enjoy it with others. Rex is always making everyone crack up with laughter. In moments of silence, we still hear Rex laughing with us. Rex’s family, lead by his parents Jason and Samantha Patchett, face profound sadness and intense grief. This GoFundMe is to support them by raising money in Rex’s memory and honor for funeral and other expenses. This is an opportunity for us to reach out and support the Patchett family in this moment of heart breaking tragedy and need. All funds will be given to Rex’s family.
