Funeral Expense for Sister Donna Woodard Poe

I have started this gofundme on behalf of my mother, Joyce Hall. Please consider donating to help the Woodard family pay for the funeral expenses of our sweet sister and daughter, Donna, who suddenly passed away this week. Donna was last heard from on 18 July when she notified mom that she wasn't feeling good and was going home from work. Mom had been calling her with no answer; then mom started calling family to see if they/we had seen or talked to our sister Donna. Unfortunately, we had not heard from her. Mom was very concerned and even called the cop to see if they had heard anything. Then while talking to the dispatcher and several questions later, mom had called family and said she had found Donna. Mom found Donna on 21 July, and Donna was our Christmas baby sister. Donna was the youngest of four sisters, our second sister to gain her wings. Mom is taking this really hard. Mom (no parent) should not have to watch her children move on to be with God. Out of six siblings: 2 brothers (book ends) and four girls, Donna, is the number five sibling of six. We have angel wings for number four sibling Susan and number five sibling Donna.

Donations will help pay for the funeral, headstone and any expenses Donna may have left unpaid. She did not have any insurance. Your donations will make things easier on our mother, who recently had a stroke and had to quit her job. The family will appreciate any donations to help.

Donna was hard-headed, but she was full of spirit and life. Once you met her, you did not forget her. She would make an impression and impact on everyone who came in contact with her. We all loved her very much, and she will be dearly missed. There is a hole in everyone's heart now that she is no longer with us. Rest in peace, baby sister!

Donna supports the military veterans. I, being retired Army, had reached out to VA, DAV and Red Cross for any funeral assistance for a veteran's siblings with no luck.
