Funeral Expense Fund for Isabel

Hi, my name is Joanna Henry, Isabel’s aunt. I want to thank every person who has reached out to our family in this time of complete sadness and humbly ask for your help once more. Anyone who has been through losing a child before knows there are no words that help, but being human everyone wants to do something to shine their light in someone else’s very dark night, and to lighten a burden in some small way. When you have a child born like Isabel, who is medically fragile and has a rare syndrome that no one has even heard of much less treated, you don’t save your money planning for a funeral. You spend your money trying to save their life each and every day for as long as you are blessed to have them, and then if you are lucky you enable them to have the most beautiful life you can full of hope and love. My sister and her family have done just this for their beautiful Isabel for the almost 30 years they had her. Because of Isabel’s diagnosis, she was never allowed to have a life insurance policy, so the funeral expenses will be extreme. The main purpose of this Go Fund Me is to take some of that financial strain off. I don’t know how people are expected to grieve their child while at the same time worry about the cost to bury them. If you choose to donate here all contributions will go directly to Isabel’s funeral expenses. Any size donation is a blessing and appreciated more than you will ever know. Your kindnesses throughout Isabel’s life made it full of beauty. No one can ask for more than for a life full of love and Isabel was loved beyond measure. Her sweet spirit will live on in those who love her even as we learn to live our lives without her in it, till we meet her again. Thank you for continuing to be a part of her story.
