Funeral expenses and future expenses

Hi, my name is Anita Rodriguez and I am raising money for my niece, Carrie Morse. For those of you who don’t know, Carrie unexpectedly lost her husband, Patrick, on Friday, May 12th. Patrick leaves behind her and her three children which looked up to him as their dad and not a stepfather. He was more of a dad to them than their biological father.

Patrick, Carrie, and the three kids had just moved into their new home on Sunday. During that time Patrick fell ill. After four days of him not feeling well, Carrie called the ambulance to take him to the hospital. Patrick was admitted Thursday night. Patrick and Carrie thought he would be in there for a few days and would be coming back home. On Friday morning, the hospital called Carrie to let her know Patrick had coded on them twice and he was in the cardiac ICU, and she should call family members and come to the hospital.

Carrie was there when he took his last breath and went peacefully to be with his maker.

Patrick did not have any life insurance and was in the process of switching insurances. Any contributions will be used to help pay for funeral costs, medical costs, and to help ease the financial burden Carrie will face as far as living expenses. My goal is give her a little cushion to use for the next few months and she can figure out what is best for her and the kids as far as living arrangements.
