Support for Hines Family

On New Year's Eve, our brother-in-law, Rafael Hines, died unexpectedly and suddenly to unforeseen Covid-19 complications.
As many may know, Rafael was a man of many roles including a son, brother, uncle, mentor, community servant, and friend. Most importantly he was Believer, Husband and Father. A husband of 27 years, Rafael and his bride, Christine were called to the ministry and spent much of their time serving children and families in Kansas City. As a man of faith, he understood the calling God had on his life and devoted his career, talents and resources to working with at risk youth through his non-profit, Success Link's after school program, summer camps, and community-based program. During the pandemic, Rafael recognized the food insecurities developed as a result of school closings, and began to focus on eliminating barriers to accessing healthy food options by going door to door to deliver meals to hundreds of children and families in their communities until his passing.
Rafael’s untimely death has left his wife, Christine and daughter, Christen with many expenses. Prayers and donations of any amount are welcomed. All monies donated will go directly to his wife and daughter in supporting medical and accrued expenses while they adjust to the loss of Rafael in the home.
