Hi, I am Amie Wehunt and a family friend of the Smuin family.

After a tragic accident that has taken the life of 3 year-old Payton Rae the family would appreciate any financial help to go toward the cost of funeral expenses.

This is a shock to the young and vibrant Smuin family. Payton was the center of it all. A force that wasn’t to be ignored. She loved the color pink. She could be loud! But unexpectedly soft as well. One minute she was putting on her mama’s makeup (without permission) and the next she would cuddle up in her daddy’s lap.

She loved her puppy and knew how to get her brothers to fall in line. The girl wasn’t afraid to say no or tell you what was on her mind.

Payton loved dress up. She was the perfect princess and had the ability to wrap her big, strong Pop Pop around her pinky.

It is hard to imagine a world without Payton in it. The family isn’t sure how to navigate their unfathomable grief. Payton leaves behind her parents, Josh and Liah Smuin, as well as her two brothers Colton and Logan. She is also survived by grandparents: James and Shana Kitchen, and Dave and Angie Smuin.

Payton was beloved by all who knew her.
