Funeral expenses for a Midtown High Family Member
Donation protected
Many of us know and love Dr. Bockman's Assistant, Pam Matthews, who has worked for APS for over 20 years. Her daughter Summer is a rising Midtown High School senior.
Tragically, Pam's oldest son (and Summer's brother), Lamario Matthews, passed away unexpectedly this past week at the age of 37, only days after Pam's sister (Summer's aunt) died. He fought valiantly against a number of health problems, but his death comes as a shock to his family.
Dr. Bockman, Midtown High School's Principal: "I first met Pam when I was principal at Coan Middle. She became my secretary there. She joined the Grady team in 2014 and is now my assistant at Midtown. She gives so much to other people - our students, families, friends, co-workers. I hope the Midtown community can help her and her family during this really hard time."
Grady Cares is sponsoring this fundraiser in order to defray these costs and show the family love and support during this tragic time. We are working directly with the funeral home and our hope is to cover all the costs associated with laying Lamario to rest.
Please consider donating to help Pam, Summer and their family during this heartbreaking time.
