Funeral Expenses for Andrew Hill

Thank you all so much for your kind words and support during this tough time In just 2 days we have raised over $10,000 for Andrew’s funeral. His family is beyond grateful for this help and has decided that any excess money not used for his funeral expenses will be used to start a scholarship fund in Andrew’s name. Thank you ALL again for everything you’ve done to help! Andrew "Drew" Hughes-Hill was a friend to everyone he met! Andrew devoted his life to others, whether it be working at Bayshore Community Hospital or volunteering as a first responder. Andrew was extremely outgoing and was a beloved member of the community who has deep family roots in Red Bank. Andrew was an active member of the Sea Bright Volunteer Fire Department, Red Bank First Aid Squad and the Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department where he was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant of the Westside Hose Company . Andrew was also an enthusiastic drummer who enjoyed spending his time with Fusion Drum & Bugle Corps and making his own beats. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank. Andrew always put God and family first no matter the circumstances.  Family members include his mother, Tanydalaya L. Hughes, his father, Harlen Hill Sr., his sister, Jazsmine Hill, his grandmother, Valerie L. Hughes, his aunt, Kimbeir L. Hughes-Bowman, and his cousin, Brianne Bowman. Andrew was a part of the Maccanico Family and the Hill Family. Andrew was known for his positive attitude and infection smile which will never be forgotten! Andrew will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
