Funeral Expenses for Artie Yantz
Donation protected
Artie Yantz was a great man. Artie is known throughout Brooklyn Neighborhoods such as Marine Park, Gerritsen Beach, Mill Basin, Fort Tilden as our baseball coach.
Artie Died February 26, 2017 at the age of 89 and was all alone. Artie had no known family and we are asking everyone in our community to open their hearts and wallets and help us give this man a decent funeral.
Many of you would remember Artie as he would ride his bike up and down Avenue U to and from his baseball practices.
Artie would give his entire day to young ballplayers and teach then everything that he knew about baseball.
Artie rented a small room in Canarsie and was always giving every minute to his ballplayers. Artie in his younger days was a high school coach for Nazareth Catholic school and also was a coach at St. Edmund Prep in Brooklyn.
We are asking you to please help us give this wonderful man a farewell that he truly deserves, If you do not feel comfortable making a donation on this site we ask that you then make a donation directly to Marine Park Funeral Home 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY 11234 Tel. (718) [phone redacted]
