Funeral expenses for Austin Dupree Garrett
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, co-workers, and members of the Smash community,
It is with great sadness that we share the traumatic and unexpected passing of our little brother, Austin Dupree Garrett (Aphro/Diamondupree), who took his own life on Friday, June 23rd, 2023.
He was a soft-spoken, articulate, gentle, sensitive, talented, intelligent, and hardworking individual who still had so much more to offer the world and many more hearts to touch at 29 years of age. We are all absolutely devastated.
With pain far more excruciating than any of us could ever imagine, he fought the battle against his mental health with problems such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, and sleeplessness. He tried his best to deal with the pain by himself, stay positive, and smile during his last months, as opposed to making us worry about him. That was the kind of man he was.
On our little brother's behalf, we kindly ask all of you who are reading this today for your assistance. We would like to raise money to give our beloved Austin the proper funeral that he deserves and allow an opportunity for those who would like to attend and pay their respects to be able to do so, as soon as possible.
Any contributions of any amount would be sincerely appreciated during this emotionally and financially difficult time for us. Contributions will go toward funeral expenses, transportation costs, and mental health services for the family.
Thank you all for your time, love, support, and most importantly, for being in Austin’s life.
Sincerely,
Cameron Garrett
