William Otis "Billy" Wolfe, 55, of Granville, West Virginia passed away January 30, 2021, after a long illness.
Billy, a spirited and youthful soul, lived life to the fullest stretching the boundaries of life. His smile would light up a room; his compassion towards others was unmatched; his love for his family was deep. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his husband of 17 years, Todd Thornton; father Terry Russell Wolfe; sisters Sandra Wolfe and Dawn Wolfe; brothers Rusty Wolfe, Chad Zeigler, Terry Wolfe, and Johnathon Eddy; sister-in-law Bobbie Jo Wolfe, mother-in-law Nancy Thornton; brother-in-law Ryan Thornton (Angela); nieces Morgan May (Steven Barnett), Sarah Youger (Warren), Donna Nash (Dakota), Elizabeth Wolfe; nephews Ryan Wolfe, Joseph Wolfe (Britney), Christopher Poling (Dulce), and Terry Moore; special friends Carol Wolfe-Biddle and Deborah Jackson; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and his dog Charlie.
He is preceded in death by his mother Donna Rakosi-Wolfe, father-in-law Thomas Thornton, grandparents Otis and Marcella Rakosi, grandmother Norma Ellias, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dog Penny.
Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral & Cremation Care of Westover, WV. A memorial service will be held with a dinner to follow. Updates will be posted here. The family is grateful for all the love and support received from Billy's many friends and relatives. Thank you.
