Funeral expenses for Carlos Zelaya
Donation protected
My best friend Carlos Fernando Zelaya Barrera was a kind, funny, bright, and hardworking person who cared about others. He loved playing guitar, fostering cats, and was always up to trying new foods. After graduating from Herndon High School, he attended Northern Virginia Community College studying Mechanical Engineering with plans to further his education at George Mason University. Sadly, he abruptly passed away this past Mother’s Day after a long battle with depression.
Carlos immigrated to the United States at five years old with his mother from El Salvador in order to better their lives; much of his family still lives there. His family and friends are devastated by this sudden loss.
This is the time when we must rally around the Zelaya family, extend a helping hand, say prayers, and support in whatever capacity we can. On behalf of Carlos' family, we ask you to donate funds for the funeral and general expenses that they may accrue during this time of loss.
