Funeral Expenses for Cathy Garcia

My name is Leora-Nubia Garcia, On 8/25 my family & I received devastating news that my mother Cathy Garcia was a victim of a hit and run on 161st and river ave in the Bronx. She was heading to work as the incident happened. My mother worked for the Corrections department and nobody can say anything bad about her. My mother nomatter what was a happy and friendly wife, grandmother, and above all a mother. I loved her.

I’m the youngest out of her 3 kids and I was her EMT. I have been in EMS for the past 7 years, I’ve worked at Citywide Mobile Response and for a short time Senior Care SBH. Any generous contributions towards our arrangements are highly appreciated as we go through this tragedy of losing a loved one. Any and all donations will be going towards funeral expenses and financial hardships pertaining to my mothers passing. Thank you.
