Funeral Expenses for Dahamoney Murchison

On Friday night, Dahamoney passed away.  He leaves behind his two beloved brothers, an extended family he loved and a large number of people whose lives he touched.  

Dahamoney was a thoughtful and compassionate person.  He made everyone he talked to feel important.  In high school, he was that person who was friends with everyone.  After high school in his training to be a union painter at Job Corps and later when he moved to New York City, he was quick to make new friends.  Dahamoney was an empathetic person who took time to listen to others and understand where they were coming from.  His friendly and charismatic personality charmed even the most difficult people.  He would argue for his position passionately, all the while smiling and making sure he heard your perspective.

We are raising money to cover the cost of his funeral, $3000.00 is still needed to cover the costs.  This is a huge burden for his brothers who are grieving the unexpected loss of their older brother.  

There are three ways we are helping to gather donations.

1.  gofundme:  All funds donated through gofundme will be paid directly to McIntyre funeral home though Colleen Hennessy (former counselor at Eastern Wayne High School and Dahamoney's "Mama Hen".  After the payment is made, I will post the receipt received from the funeral home.
