Final Expenses For Daniel Higgins

Dan was taken home to his savior.

Eight years ago Dan was paralyzed on the right side of his body after a stroke, contributing to the ongoing medical issues he has had ever since. He passed from a heart attack in his home on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Dan always needed to be the center of attention and would never miss a chance to joke or make any bad situation into a laughable moment.

Dan served over 12 years in the Air Force and served during both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield as a military police officer. Dan deeply loved his country and was very proud of his time in the military. The only thing he loved more than his country was his children. Whether it was going to a movie or just ordering a pizza with Josh or Riley coming over to cook dinners and just hang or a long-distance call with Jennifer, Dan was always happiest when he had the attention of his children.

As a family, we have decided to celebrate Dan's life in the summer of 2023, when all of his family can make arrangements to attend.

We ask that, instead of flowers, please consider donating to help cover all unexpected final costs.
