Funeral Expenses for Dan's family

Hi, my name is Ian, and I'm fundraising for Dan Alimov, otherwise known as Russian Dan. Divers off the New Jersey coast will know Dan as a quiet guy who loved life and diving. To me, Dan was someone that never complained about anything. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He just got on with life and what it handed him.

Dan came to the US from Kyrgyzstan in 2001. He leaves behind his loving wife and two children, who joined him in the US in 2005. Dan was not a rich man in the way many of us would consider the word rich; however, Dan lived a life full of the riches of family, his first passion followed by diving and cycling. He was a modest man who lived a humble life which he regrettably lost at the young age of 55 years on Saturday, August 20.

Any funds raised will be provided to his wife and children to lessen the financial burden they now find themselves in. They have a challenging life ahead, adjusting to their loss.
