Funeral Expenses for David Rith
Donation protected
Hello everyone. My name is Anita Rith, David’s oldest sister.
As some may have known, our family have been in and out of Boston Children’s Hospital regarding our brother David Rith. As of today, January 22, 2023, David is no longer with us. It has been a tragic start to 2023 for our family.
David was the 2nd youngest to our 7 siblings. For an 11 year old, he was very mature. Loving, caring, smart, thoughtful and very respectful are some of the many words that describe what kind of a person he was. He took great care of his parents and baby brother Davian who is only 4. David had big goals and plans of owning his own business. He told his mom that the reason why he wanted to be successful was because he did not want to see mom and dad work hard anymore.
On December 28th, things took a turn. David showed symptoms of a stroke and was quickly transported to Boston Children’s Hospital from LGH. Throughout the weeks we waited and we hoped but, unfortunately, his brain had been irreversibly damaged. The effect causing multiple strokes and aneurysms, ultimately leading to the passing of our young brother, David. Our family is devastated and heartbroken at the unexpected loss of our beloved brother.
Our family would like to thank the medical team at the Boston Children’s Hospital, family and friends for all their support and efforts through this very difficult time of need.
This unexpected tragedy has left us unprepared financially for all the costs needed to give David a proper funeral and burial. We are graciously asking for any funds to help us. All remaining donations will go to my parents. My family and I are grateful for all the support that comes our way.
On behalf of my family, thank you all so much
