Funeral and Medical Costs for Dennis Perez

We're reaching out to friends and family who could be a help with my dad's funeral. We wish to bury him in San Jose where he can rest peacefully in the same cemetery his sister, grandparents, and cousin lies.

My dad, unfortunately, passed away on February 25th. We're still waiting for the autopsy report and for the police to finish their investigation. There's no official answer to what happened that day. All we know is he had a heart attack as he was backing up causing him to crash into a parked car just across the street from us. I did arrive at the scene but he was already taken to the ER and was announced dead at 9:51 am.

Making that call to my mom and sister was one of the hardest things ever. It was unfortunate that we weren't there next to him as he was being taken away. None of us expected him to leave us so early. He just turned 51 on January 31st. We lost a really good man. We relied on him every day and he enjoyed and loved every second of it. He was a great dad, a great husband, and a great son and he did his best. He was full of surprises and never lacked. He had answers to every question we had and he was there for every problem. He was brave, very loving, and caring. He never hesitated to help others when asked. It didn't matter who it was, friends, family, or strangers. One thing about him though is he never asked for help but when he did he always was embarrassed. He left without owing anyone anything. He was very independent especially when it comes to expenses. He always made sure to let us know that we were the reason he kept on pushing. And now he's the reason why we need to keep pushing.
