Funeral Expenses for Derrick Saunders

Our beloved Derrick Saunders recently passed on March 29, 2020, one day after his 22nd birthday.  Derrick was a wonderful son, excellent father, caring brother, affectionate grandson, compassionate uncle, nurturing nephew, thoughtful cousin and true friend who touched and impacted the lives of those around him.  He leaves behind 4 children (ages 5, 2 and 8 months), 3 nieces from his late sister Sade, loving parents and children’s mother (companion).  

Derrick was dedicated to fathering his children, helping his nieces and mother.  He had a thirst for life, a passion for music, and was an aspiring talented music artist working hard to achieve success in his craft and fatherhood.
 
We are all devastated by Derrick’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service.  We want to give Derrick the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to cover the cost of Derrick’s funeral. We need to raise $10,000.00 by April 15, 2020 in order to be able to afford the funeral service.  If we exceed our goal the additional funds will be donated to his supporting his children.
