The Douglas Family

Colette Douglas and her family have suffered a tragic loss as Campbell Douglas, Colette’s husband and father to their three children, passed away last week from a brain infection caused by a free-moving amoeba. The couple have been together 16 years where they met in their home nation, St. Kitts and Nevis. He helped raise her two oldest children, Kason and Kasondre, and were married in 2015. Soon after, they welcomed a baby boy, Camden, in 2017.  He was working as a Mental Health Specialist at Texas Health and Human Services and North Texas State Hospital.
