*Update: So when I originally posted this fundraiser I wasn't sure what to even set the goal to, ilwe had some incredible support so far but I underestimate the cost of all the things so revised our goal to 14,000 and have more info in another post*

Hi thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

My little sister Emily tragically and unexpectedly passed away the morning of 5/4. She was only 23 and didn't have any life insurance we don't really have much of anything saved for purchasing the cemetery plot or a tombstone and her SSDI money is taken back once the death certificate is filed.

She was a special little person, born with a rare congenital cdisorder called Angelman Syndrome ( its considered to be on the Autism spectrum but different than other chromosomal disorders like Downs)

Always so full of wonder and excitement, and such a shining beacon of joy, we miss her dearly. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as well as my Mom. Emily was only 23, and this was so sudden we don't really have anything set aside for final expenses. Anything you contribute will he used for the cemetery plot/ tombstone/memorial service (which i will make details available once we know what we are doing for a service) and anything left after final expenses will be split up and donated entirely to Buda's Brightside and Camp Summit, which were huge parts of her life and had a huge positive impact on her.

If you're interested, please consider additional contributions to Buda's Brightside in her honor, the staff are so caring and loving, and really raise the quality of life for all their clients so much, I know that Emily really benefited from the time she spent there.
