Funeral expenses for Eve Nelson

Eve is a dear friend who is in hospice and doesn’t have much time left. She is a wonderful human, who gave much of her life to others, helping the elderly, fostering and rescuing thousands of cats and kittens and literally giving all she had to her animal rescue.

Eve had a stroke 4 months ago and was on her way to a full recovery (or so we all thought), when a mass was discovered in her ovary. It turned out to be malignant and the day after her surgery this past Friday, she had another massive stroke, leaving her unable to speak, move or communicate in any way. It also put a huge strain on her already weakened body, made chemo impossible and her body is giving out. She can barely breathe and it’s only a matter of time before she leaves us .

Eve has many friends who love her dearly, but not too much in the way of blood relatives. She was also not prepared for these drastic and draining medical expenses, and now on top of that we are all struggling to plan for her impending funeral, pay off her medical debt for which all of her savings has been depleted on her care these last 4 months.
