Fellow Officers called him “FALLO”

Devin JB Fallo loved serving his people; he was an Army Veteran who served his country in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Syria.

When Devin arrived back home he continued to serve his people with the

MS State Hospital Police, the

Jackson Police Department and the

Flowood Police Department.

Devin was a very fun loving person. He loved to joke and play around with with family, loved ones and friends. Devin never met a stranger, he had a special way about him that would draw people to him.

Devin always felt compelled to help someone in need. Devin would give the shirt off his back, even if it was his last shirt, to someone in need.

Devin was always able to find the “positive” in the midst of the negative. No matter how bad your day was, Devin had a way to always make you smile.

He most definitely had a very special heart and character.

When Devin was young, he never saw the bad in people; he believed he could find the good in all. Devin never met a stranger.

As a little boy, he always felt he had something to do or somewhere to go to help the older people in his neighborhood.

These beautiful qualities God placed in Devin’s character led him to serving his family, his people and his country in the armed forces and at home on the local police force.

Our hearts are broken and torn in the tragic, unexpected loss of his life to a senseless crime.

To those of us who knew 

Devin “FALLO,”

we know without a shadow of doubt, that

when our Father In Heaven, the Lord God Almighty created Devin Joseph, He cut Devin from a special one of a kind mold… one that could never be made again, or ever be replaced.
